One Person can make a Difference.
A carpenter with his own idea of what it is to freely think and believe. Tired of the corruption of leaders, who fought against the oppression's of his day. Who was persecuted because he endangered the status quot of corruption in special interest groups, managed to leave a legacy that has lasted for over 2000 years.
A surveyor, planter then turned general who led the fight against the oppression's of his day. He who emerged victorious in the face of a corrupt tyrant and when given the opportunity to become royalty he declined.
A postmaster, lawyer, turned leader who lead the fight to rejoin a fractured nation. Who was slain in retaliation of the action taken to destroy the status quot of an oppressive system.
A boy named for his farther who lead a great nation against an oppression that would steal the very land that forced the end of his own nation. Who fought while being pursued for 1170- miles his leadership and his peoples ability to fight gained admiration of his pursuers. Upon surrender said “ From where the sun now stands, I will fight no more forever”
A preacher that spoke of the content of character, that was tired of the injustice of in-equality, who fought against the oppression's of his day. Persecuted because he endangered the status quot.
What all these great people have in common is the willingness to speak out and to act against what they felt was an assault against there freedom.
An oppressive system can only exist through the lack of actions of complacent ignorance. By not being engaged in the news of the day, to believe that your voice wont be heard or your vote won't count is to be complacent. To believe all you are told from others that are motivated by greed driven agendas promotes ignorance.
Question everything as nothing is free, affordable, or patriotic if you lose your right to choose, a doctor or to speak without prying eyes or be taxed to the point of despair. Be active in the conversation, your actions will determine what type of country you want to be left to your children.
We are born with the potential of greatness; by not trying you will discover the potential of others to change your world.
In the future if some one was to write about me, I would want them to say, he was willing to speak out, he wasn't afraid of being ridiculed, he wasn't a great leader, he just believed in the Constitution and the United States of America.
What do you want your legacy to be?

I do believe one person can make a difference. I know it to be true...and have witnessed it in my own life. Being true to a belief and to ones self and country is something most people do not understand.
