The Most Eloquent Words Ever Written

in order to form a more perfect union, established justice , insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our prosperity, do ordained and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

The Constitution was written by several committees over the summer of 1787. On September 10, 1787 the Committee of Stile and Arrangement started working and two days later it presented to the Convention the final draft of the Constitution.

Two hundred and twenty six years ago, these words were put on paper with such intent and thought that every word, phrase, and punctuation carry's the weight of all people that desire to be free.

What is freedom? Is it a magic word or a spell cast by a person richer or wiser than our self's? A philosophy that grants us a belief by the wave of there hand or with a touch of a wand. “NO”

Freedom is the desire to be left alone, to reap what we sow, to follow a dream, to work for a goal or to be like a farmer to own the land that will feed his family. To work harder for a greater crop that will elevate those who I love when they cannot.
To provide without being levied to the point of despair. To have a reason to smile at the end of every day. Freedom is greater than mere words, it is the fire in my soul that lights my life.
Two hundred fourteen years and one day later the actions of a new enemy set into motion the erosion of our most basic rights. The Patriot Act, it reduced restrictions for law enforcement agencies to collect information on any citizen in the United States. It grants power to the Secretary of the Treasury to regulate financial transactions, and broadens the immigration authorities in detaining suspected terrorism. The act also expands the definition of terrorism to include domestic acts. Since then on May 26 2011 President Obama signed an extension to the act allowing roving wiretaps, searches of business records and to conduct surveillance of individuals suspected of terrorism.

With a government that empowers itself by limiting freedom, one day it will justify their right to change the definition of the word. The definition of terrorism will surly change and it will one day apply to a person who is willing to protest the government?

What I learned as a young boy is still with me as a man. The difference between right and wrong is to follow a path that is lit by the goodness of manhood carrying the scars of regret, I continue to grow”. Quote by: T.C.Schwartz
